CHEMICAL FEEDERS FOR SULFUR, IRON and MANGANESE

Chemicals feeders are for injecting chemicals. They are for raising pH, killing iron bacteria and the removal of e-coli and coliform.

And of these instances. Only e-coli and coliform require retention tanks in addition to the chemical feeder. A Chlorine injector by itself can also get rid of that horrible rotten egg smell without the use of a Retention Tank. And it can control iron bacteria without a retention tank if used in conjunction with a Terminox® Filter.

Chemical feeders E-Coli and Coliform require the use of a Retention Tank.

You can normally use a chemical feeder ONLY to remove sulfur and that awful rotten egg smell. But if you have any iron AT ALL then you need to move to something else, such as a Terminox® ISM filter that actually cleans iron, sulfur and manganese from the water. If you have iron and/or manganese, a chemical feeder alone will make the staining much worse. You must use Terminox® for that.

Chemical Feeders work very well with Terminox Filters

If you ever see the color "black" anywhere at all. Then the chlorine feeder by itself is not the way to go. That color usually indicates the presence of manganese. In that case you would need a Terminox® Filter. Please don't hesitate to give us a quick call for a quick evaluation of your issue.
